Being a Solitary Witch has allowed me to develop and grow at my own pace as well as except or update my own belief set as I needed to without worrying about fitting into those around me. Like most witches of all different traditions, the choice to be a solitary or to belong to a coven is an individual one for kitchen and cottage witches. One cloudy day, when I was about ten, I was lounging in this swing in my backyard (a favorite spot at the time), when I started messing around, and discovered I could part the clouds with a spell.
